The Sljeme OIV* tower is one of the symbols of Zagreb, located in the Medvednica Nature Park, and is the ‘hallmark’ of Medvednica and the highest tourist point of the Croatian capital, which is well worth visiting and experiencing. A new intelligence point for the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS)
The tourist entrance to the OIV Tower on Sljeme is the Intelligence Point of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS). It is equipped with a defibrillator and first aid kits. During working hours, firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department of Kučilovina and members of the HGSS – Station Zagreb are located in the tower.
